Installation
You can enable shell integration so that in future you can
start ZVSee clicking with the right mouse button on the folder you want to
browse:
If you moved
the ZVSee files to another directory the shell integration won't work any more.
To re-enable it just click the above button again.
Deinstallation
Click here if you want to remove shell integration or uninstall ZVSee: (After that you may safely remove ZVSee files from your system.)
Using ZVSee
In the left frame there is s list of image files in the current folder (without extension, to save space) and the list of folders you can navigate to (in square brackets).
Choose images using the mouse or:
Press Spacebar for the next image.
Press
Control + Spacebar for the previous image.
Navigate through folders the same way you
choose pictures - by mouseclicks. To go to
the parent folder [..] or to change drive [...] you can also use Backspace.
Press L to minimize/restore the left frame. Use the mouse to resize/restore it.
Press F or click the checkbox "Fit" to toggle the shrink-to-fit option.
You can delete the image you are currently viewing by pressing Delete.
Press F twice to refresh the picture size and position.
Press R to
refresh the contents of the left frame.
Press S to start or stop slide show.
Currently supported picture
file extensions are:
"jpg","jpeg","jpe","bmp","gif","dib","png","ico".
When you open a folder containing many files or subfolders be patient please! It may take a few seconds.
Try not to have too many (more then 100) files in one folder because this can cause the picture list build pretty slow.
Known bugs and
problems
1) When closing
ZVSee you may sometimes see the message: "This program has
performed an illegal operation and will
be shut down. If this problem persists, contact the program vendor."
I've noticed that when I had IE 5.5. Now I use IE 6 and
this does not happen any more.
2) When starting ZVSee you will maybe sometimes (very
rarely) see error messages like "A Runtime Error has occured. Do you wish
to debug? ... " If that happens klick "No" and restart ZVSee. I know why this
happens and which parts of code I need to rewrite. I'll do it for the next version.
